Track Mounted Work Platform Lift Provides Easier Access for Billet Casting Application.

One of our customers, who specialize in the extrusion of billet casting for aluminum producers, needed a personnel work platform to assist in their operations. They were looking for a highly functional lift that would integrate with their casting equipment allowing workers to access each mold at varying heights.

Autoquip designed a work platform that is track-mounted for mobile alignment to the casting equipment. The 143″ long platform has a capacity of 1,100 pounds and can accommodate two people. It’s equipped with a swing-gate entry with fixed handrails on each side. On board push button controls to operate the lift forward/reverse on track, up/down – travel height to 55 ¾”. The work platform lift provides versatility, allowing the workers closer access to the molds, and reducing the need for additional types of lift equipment.
