TSL Dock Lift Moves Donated Goods For The Salvation Army
Introduction
TSL Dock Lift improves productivity and makes unloading donated goods much easier.
Project Challenge
The Salvation Army needed an easier solution to remove donated goods from their trucks. This application had a few specific requirements: raised height needed to be level with the back of the truck for unloading goods, when lowered the lift needed to be flushed with the floor so that the truck could drive over the entire surface when entering or leaving the warehouse, and the lift needed to include safe guards to keep the fork truck from driving off the sides of the lift as it was driving up and into the truck trailer.
Our Solution
TSL Dock Lift was built to The Salvation Army’s specific requirements that included a 342″ long ramp and retractable side guards. The lift lowers flushed to the floor and raises 48″ high to be level with the truck trailer and holds a capacity of 16,000 lbs.
The Results
Autoquip’s TSL Dock Lift will improve productivity for The Salvation Army by making it easier for the fork truck to drive up the ramp and into the back of the trailer to remove more volume of goods quicker and safer.
